Provide support for Rich Client Platform where applicable (perhaps by turning 
on the ‘Editor > Rich Client Platform’ generator option).

The UML editor will not be changed to be an RCP editor (it is only a sample anyway).

The model (org.eclipse.uml2.uml) and edit support (org.eclipse.uml2.edit), along with their prerequisites, support RCP and can also be run independently of Eclipse.
