Description Jim des Rivieres CLA 2004-12-03 14:48:21 EST
Make functionality currently found in the Java editor available to other plug-
ins by pushing it down into Platform Text. This includes hyperlink style
navigation, annotation navigation, spell checking, and quick fix
infrastructure. [JDT Text; Platform Text]

Please also check if bug 82296 fits to this plan item (editor should use spaces
instead of tabs for identation, even if [tab] key is pressed).
Thanks!

Another good one to push down is document folding. See bug 84819.
Comment 3 Dani Megert CLA 2005-02-10 03:43:47 EST
re comment 2: agree, but most likely not for 3.1 (see bug 84819, comment 1).
Comment 4 Dani Megert CLA 2005-04-15 05:43:52 EDT
Marking the plan item as fixed.

The following work has been done:
- hyperlink style navigation
- pluggable spell checking

The following work has been deferred:
- annotation navigation (see bug 47060)
- spell checking support in the editor (see bug 51444)
- quick fix infrastructure (see bug 91504)
