Description Mike Schrag CLA 2004-11-23 11:50:44 EST
This is related to my post on the mailing list -- the quick overview:
1) 1.10 server w/ extssh
2) override and update from the team synchronize view
3) update -C is not supported by the server, which causes the command to fail
4) the file is removed from the team synchronize view as if it succeeded
5) refresh the team sync view
6) file reappears as new

This is a really strange workflow that most people probably won't ever see, but I thought I'd log it in
case there might be other more common workflows that have similar issues.

[since this doesn't seem to be Mac specific, I've changed the OS/Platform fields to "All"]

The issue stems from how we do an Override. Because of limitations of CVS, we
delete and unmanage the local file and then update. At some point, we should
invesigate whether we can be smarter about this (or, if we can't, stop using -
C since there are no local changes anymore).

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
