Description

I'm not sure where this should go...any idea MVM? update? I am not sure how .pac scripts can be supported. If you have any suggestions I'd be glad to implement a solution. Well, I dont know how they are implemented but you could look at the code for mozilla or Konqueror which both support them. There are a number of open- source implementations that use them. It would be nice to have a java based solution, and also covered by a license that would allow us to look at and/or use. There are restrictions on what kind of open source code I can look at. In general, scripted proxies are not used as much as in the past, and for the other kind of proxies, there is already support in j2se. Thanks for the pointers, we'll do our best to get something going. I guess you mean the automatic proxy configuration URL (like in the Firefox-Preferences)? If so, it should be also implemented for the CVS Proxy Settings. Or should i open a new Bug? Moving to runtime. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 204563 *** |
