In workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.ui.workbench\workbench.xml both 
the view id and the partName are stored.  The partName is a translated 
string.  If I switch between languages, the partName is remembered and I do 
not get the correct translation.  Starting eclipse with -clean does not fix 
this.

For example, install the 3.0.1 translations and start eclipse with "-nl fr".  
Open the view "Erreurs".  Now close eclipse.  Now start eclipse with "-nl 
de".  Note that the view still has the title "Erreurs".  If I click on the 
view, its name changes to "Fehler".

Tod, this seems very familiar to me.  Didn't we discuss this during the 3.0 cycle?
