This defect can be reproduced with any launch configuration dialog (i.e. Run, 
Debug, External Tools, etc):

1) Click on the New button in the launch configuration dialog.
2) Fill in the necessary fields in the main tab.
3) In the launch configuration dialog, change the Name of the launch 
configuration to something different .. like "MyLaunch".
4) On the Common tab, click on the check box(s) in the "Display in favorites 
menu" section.
5) Click on the Apply button.  Note: to reproduce the defect you should click 
on Apply once and only once (and only after steps 1 thru 4).
6) Click on the Close button to dismiss the launch configuration dialog.

Now drop down the launch menu on the tool bar.  Notice that your newly created 
launch configuration is not in the favorites section of the menu.  All the 
steps above must be followed exactly in order to see the defect.  If you omit 
step 3 (i.e. leave the name alone) the defect doesn't happen.  Or if you hit 
the Apply button after step 3 (and then again at step 5) the defect doesn't 
happen.
