On linux the org.eclipse.ui.internal.dialogs.ProductInfoDialog class will 
launch an external browser to display the error log. More control is needed 
over the application that is used to display this file. It is not always 
appropriate for the user to have access to an unrestricted browser. If the 
help system browser was used instead then more control can be excersiced over 
how the content is displayed.

Note that the code has a //TODO that already states this.
