Description

Moving to Help This enhancement is a good idea and an opportunity for a contribution from the open source community. Initially it could be written as a separate plugin. Does anyone in the open source community want to write this feature? i'm definitely interested and have started on a skeleton plugin...i will make it available (sourceforge) as soon as i have something worth showing. *** Bug 6348 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Leon, how is your plugin going? i have a preliminary version available which works as a proof-of-concept. no binaries, but the source is on sourceforge: CVSROOT: cvs.defector.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/defector Module: org.neverborn.edt its pretty bare-bones, but i've tested it against the Eclipse repository successfully. see my post on the newsgroup: "[ANN] pre-release of defect tracking plugin" for more details. note: i will working overseas for 3 months, starting today, so i won't be able to give it that much attention until my return. Thanks for the update Leon. When I get a chance I'll give it a try but this is not likely to happen until after 2.0 is finished. i'll be able to work on this again soon. things i plan to do before 1.0.0 release: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi- bin/viewcvs.cgi/defector/org.neverborn.edt/todo.txt the planned design for 1.0.0 release: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi- bin/viewcvs.cgi/defector/org.neverborn.edt/design-notes.txt your comments welcomed. Leon, how is your plugin going? This is hasn't been touched in 3 years I am assuming it is no longer in development |
