If you check out a branche from CVS by using "checkout as" and enter a new name such as "xxx", the default workspace location in the next step of the wizard displays a (disabled) location which refers to the original project name instead of the name given ("xxx"). This is a little bit confusing, however the directory created by Eclipse is <Workspace-Directory>/xxx.
