It would be very usefull if the ‘Extract method’ refactoring had the option to
select where the generated method should be inserted. Something like the
‘generate setters and getters’ dialog uses.

In the setter/getter dialog we can use the current cursor position to specify the insert location. But for extract method the selection is already used to select the statements to extract. A combo box could be added to let you secify the method to insert after. Not planed for 3.2. Help is welcome.
