The folding option hides the code of a printout.
There should also be an option in the "Source menu" to expand all that is 
folded and also allow to collapse it back.

Open the context menu of the folding ruler > Expand All (Ctrl + Numpad_Divide)

"Expand All" only gets you halfway to your goal.  There is no apparent means to
return to the previous level of folding.

There is an RFE in on bug 66085 for a visual cue to be printed when code is
folded.  Though I (personally) don't think it's the best solution to the
problem, it's a start.
