*** Bug 79335 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** There is an enhancement request for SWT to provide mouse events on table columns (bugzilla# 32322). Currently there is no mouse event on table columns available except a selection event which is on mouse left click. This defect depends on the availability of rigth mouse event from table columns. I am adding the dependency on 32322. Meanwhile, the problem described in 79335 can be worked around by adding a row in datapool and get the remove variable context menu on a cell. In addition, as the enhancement for data entry is implemented, new datapool will always start with at least one row and one column, in which case context menu will always be available on the existing cell. More directly, there is an enhancement request for SWT to provide context menu on table column headers. I am marking this one as a dup of 23103 and also added one vote for 23103. The attached patch checked in to CVS (HEAD). Requires a new test case. A new test case added to each of the following test suites: /org.eclipse.hyades.test.ui.datapool.tests/manual/datapool/Test.UI.DatapoolEditor_editing.testsuite As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since this enhancement/defect has been resolved and unverified for more than 1 year and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open. |
