If we fix Bug 64744 this will no longer be high priority The lack of a top level task name is fine, since the underlying core operation will supply one. The message from the core operation was not being propagated to the parent monitor in this case. This has been fixed in core. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 63433 *** |
20040529 The DeleteResourceAction#delete(IResource[] resourcesToDelete, IProgressMonitor monitor) method starts running with monitor.beginTask("", resourcesToDelete.length); //$NON-NLS-1$ So as a result the progress dialog never shows anything above the progress bar except "Operation in Progress". It is even worse if the operation is blocked before it can run as the message will be cleared.
