Description
Andrew Eidsness
After looking into this I realized that in 2.1 it was the view title bar, not the view tab that had the drop down menu. I'm guessing (perhaps hoping) that will come for free when the view title bar work (bug 59948) has been completed. I'm leaving this open for now, but changing the title. With ed's latest submission for 59948, the dropdown is nearly the same as 2.1.
The only differences I see are:
- 2.1 didn't have a minimize option
- 2.1 had a dropdown for the tab group title bar, but not for individual
tabs
There will be work either way (e.g., currently some draw
problems in minimized view), so we should decide which behaviour is preferable.
I believe the R21 presentation should inherit R3 functionality unless there's a good usability or technical reason not to. Less training, doc, code, etc.. So I vote to leave it in and mark this closed. My secret agenda is that the R21 presentation will be merged back into the mainline before R3 production. Uh oh, guess it's not a secret any more :). |
