Description eric eisenhower CLA 2004-04-16 16:45:08 EDT
I've detached the package explorer and outline views and moved them to the 2nd
monitor. Dialogs invoked from these views show up on the 1st monitor where is
the main Eclipse window. Something about parenting with null (see bug 58581)?

Examples (non inclusive):
Package Explorer
->New Project
->Delete
->Working set
->restore from local history
->Properties
Outline
->Delete
->Refactor->rename
->Replace With->Local History

All show up on wrong monitor

many of these dialogs may be due to bug 58936

Comment 3 Stefan Xenos CLA 2005-02-23 16:29:16 EST
The fix to bug 58990 has fixed the following dialogs:
Package Explorer->Delete
Outline->Rename
Outline->Delete
Comment 4 Dirk Baeumer CLA 2005-02-24 06:58:53 EST
Fixed working sets dialogs by using site.getShell().

Opened separate bug for New and Properties dilaog since this are actions from
Platform.

Andre, the histroy actions take the shell from the workbench window instead of
remebering the part for which they are created. Can you have a look at this.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
