Expected:

http://staging.eclipse.org/birt should redirect to https://staging.eclipse.org/birt


and I would expect a dialog to enter username/password.

Assigning to Webmaster and upping the priority.

HTTP auth was added to stop google from indexing the staging site which did happen in the past.
