I've raised bug 567376 (with screencast attached) which could well have the same underlying cause. Potentially points to wider table issues. Glitch there can be 'corrected' forcing a layout/update by resizing the workbench window or view splits; similarly Preferences window/split resize for this one. Created attachment 284183 [details] screenshot 1 This is similar to #566602 but was observed in 4.17 (Eclipse 2020-09) on Big Sur beta (x86_64). With the preferences dialog open, I typed a filter string in the top-left above the tree. This caused the text rendering in the tree to either shrink or stretch, depending on the amount of filter text entered. See screenshot.
