Hi all,

I was asked by my colleagues to open this ticket here (since they do not have their own Eclipse profile yet):

Two colleagues of mine want to create a new Eclipse account. After completing the registration, they are still waiting for the confirmation email from Eclipse since last week. 


Please check the status of both colleagues and send the confirmation email:

The email should arrive a few minutes after registration. 

I would recommend that they start over since these requests will expire after 24 hours. Please make sure to check your spam folder!

Thanks for the response. I just talked to Felix Otto, and he told me that he tried on Thursday, Friday and today (10.30 CEST). No confirmation email and spam folder is empty...

On which day did you create the account?  I'll need the date to look through the maillogs.

The problem seems to be on our end:

status=bounced (host balduin.siemens.com[194.138.37.42] said: 554 5.7.1 <webmaster@eclipse.org>: Sender address rejected: spf helo check failed: mail.eclipse.org: Redundant applicable 'v=spf1' sender policies found

I'll have to wait until my colleague is back from vacation to talk about our spf policies.  Apologies for the inconvenience.

As a data point, that error is only thrown from Siemens mail servers, and started on June 23.

Thank you for notification. When will your colleague back from vacation? We like to submit a new project proposal, however, this is not possible since Felix and Pedram have no account yet.
