The links in the release description make the description difficult to read. Consider making those URLs links with descriptive text.

The project license is EPL-1.0. This needs to be updated to EPL-2.0. Is this something that can be done for this release? If not, please make it a work item for the next release.

There is no CONTRIBUTING file in the xtext-core repository (or any other help for contributors that includes a description of the ECA). There's help here [1]

we prefer to do this in a future release.
i also need some guide on what exactly needs to be done.
