I launched eclipse with 'eclipse/eclipse -
/usr/local/share/vms/j9sc1.4.1/bin/java -data ~/target-tmp' (new workspace).
The name of the default JRE is '..' and it's location
'/usr/local/share/vms/j9sc1.4.1/bin/..' instead of 'j9sc1.4.1' and
'/usr/local/share/vms/j9sc1.4.1'.

It seems to be a j9sc only bug. That works fine with sun 1.4.2.

I think that was the same problem as in bug 58684
