Description
Wayne Beaton
The project needs to update to the EPL-2.0. I assume that doing so in time for this release will be challenging; please make a plan to update this license in a near future release. Send a note to EMO so that we can update the database. The CONTRIBUTING file in the tools [1] repository references the CLA. This file should reference the ECA. I'm getting errors trying to build from this repository. My best guess is that they are looking for JavaFX. Are there additional build instructions that belong in the CONTRIBUTING (or README) file? There is no CONTRIBUTING file in the actinium repository. Please make sure that all repositories have all required legal documentation. [1] https://github.com/eclipse/californium.tools.git The actinium and tools are only slightly changes since the 1.0 release and we didn't pay too much attention to them. The missing files will be updated. The README.md has been updated with instructions for java 8 and special note for openjdk/openjfx. PMC Approval: https://www.eclipse.org/lists/iot-pmc/msg06692.html (In reply to Wayne Beaton from comment #1) > The project needs to update to the EPL-2.0. However, we are referring to the californium repo from californium.tools and californium.actinium in order to prevent duplication. > [1] https://github.com/eclipse/californium.tools.git > We have migrated to EPL 2.0 OR EDL 1.0. I've updated the project metadata to reflect the change.
