The Eclipse Foundation values its Intellectual Property and respects the rights of other Intellectual Property holders. For this reason, a trademark search is performed prior to accepting any new project name. This safeguard is in place to protect all parties. Unfortunately, the name proposed is considered to be too descriptive to function as a trademark name. As a result, we ask that you provide up to three new project names, in order of preference, and we will initiate a new search.
