Pushing to gerrit failed

I cannot push anything to gerrit (see attachment), but I have signed the ECA.
As suggested on similar bug reports, I revoked the ECA and then I signed it again. But the result remained the same.

Could you please try again? AFAICT, everything is setup correctly in our various DBs.
Comment 2 Alexander Blaas CLA 2019-08-17 06:05:07 EDT
I tried it again, but got the same result.
Could there be something wrong with my eclipse-account?

For author, committer and the "signed-off-by-line" I'm using the name and e-mail associated with this eclipse-account. I don't have any other associated e-mail addresses.

Just for fun I changed the name and/or e-mail information used by the commit. Then I got a proper error message like "e-mail not associated with this account".

@Mickael,
Can you look at this bug again?
Comment 4 Mikaël Barbero CLA 2019-08-19 05:11:08 EDT
Alex, please try again. The gerrit user DB was a bit messy about your account. I fixed it.
Comment 5 Alexander Blaas CLA 2019-08-21 12:51:09 EDT
Thank you very much :-)
I'm able to push now.

Hi Mikael,
With my account niraj.modi@in.ibm.com, I am able to create gerrit patches for only for eclipse.platform sub-modules

Getting below error while create gerrits for JDT, PDE and Equinox:
"An error happened while checking if user has a signed agreement"

Please do the need-full to fix this, Thanks!

Do you push using ssh or https?
I had yesterday the same problem for rt.equinox.p2 using https (see 512678 comment 9) but could push to jdt.ui using ssh.

I am using ssh, so that seems fine.

What I notice is gerrit is working for platform and sub-modules where I have commit rights.
I am unable to create Gerrit for components where I don't commit rights like Equinox, PDE and JDT. Hope this information should help narrow down on the problem.

Oddly enough I think it's actually the same issue that was affecting gerrits mail service, namely bad dns entries preventing the gerrit cla checker from contacting the definitive source. I've complete cleaned the cache, so can someone please try this again and let me know if it's behaving now?

I just tried, it works!

Awesome, sounds like we're on the right track. If Niraj is able to commit as well then we can close this as fixed.
