The Eclipse IDE can currently display editor tabs only horizontalle. This is OK
as long as you don't open more than a very few modules at a time, but if you
open many (typically during maintenance editing, which often needs changes in a
lot of source files) modules this is not good. The name of each tab gets
shortened so you can't actually see which class is in each tab. If the user
could configure Eclipse to short the tabs vertically (e.g. like in JBuilder)
then it will be easier both to see the name of all open editor files, but also
to work with many concurrent open source files. In addition; many developers
uses widescreen monitors, which workspace is easier to utilize if the tabs could
be displayed vertically.

Is this a dup of bug 58590 (or vice-versa)?
