Description
Eclipse Webmaster
Hi Matt, What I have to do for this? Should you copy the image and to provide me a new IP to connect to? Regards, Nedelcho I need to know what size of machine you need and what ports(aside from 22 and 443) that you need opened. After that I'll need someones public ssh key so that they can login to the instance. We are using Azure so if you need a specific OS it will need to be one they support. Once the new instance is configured, you can login and set it up as required. Once you're happy with it let me know and we'll update the DNS records/redirects. Then we'll shutdown your old instance, and keep it for a few weeks before deleting it. Hopefully this should be fairly painless for everyone involved. -M. Can I get a response to my last comment, or should I presume that the dirgible vserver is no longer required and archive it? -M. Hi Matt, Can we have a VM with 8GB RAM on the new landscape? Regards, Nedelcho Ok I've created the new instance, and have added your public key. The DNS record for dirigible.eclipseprojects.io has been updated to point at this new instance to allow you to use the old 'dirigible.eclipse.org' DNS entry in case you need to move data around. Once you've finished setting up the new host, let me know and I'll shutdown the instance on our server, and remove the dirigible.eclipse.org DNS record. -M. Ping! Nedelcho, have you managed to get everything going on the new server? -M. I've removed the dirigible.eclipse.org DNS entry, and shutdown the old vserver. -M. |
