"If I use the usual download link to download the latest JDT LS archive file: https://download.eclipse.org/jdtls/snapshots/jdt-language-server-latest.tar.gz The link is HTTPS. However, it redirects to the mirror download site with HTTP, i.e. http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/eclipse/jdtls/snapshots/jdt-language-server-latest.tar.gz.

It'd be great if there was an https mirror as well at least. BTW HTTPS version of the mirror URL works fine. Any chance we can have HTTPS download links redirected to HTTPS mirror URLs?"

I have to agree -- I'll check for https on all out active mirrors and update their base path.

I smile when I see that design decisions 14 years ago pay off in 2019.

Those are internal to the Eclipse.org network to bypass the mirroring system, we'll fix those.
