Description Christopher Stura CLA 2019-04-24 18:37:27 EDT
I would like to migrate existing github repositories for Eclipse Jemo both website and source code to github.

If possible I would also like a Jenkins task to push github pushes into gerrit for the website.

Thank you

Chris

When is the best time for us to do this?

Anytime you can is fine.

I've created

github.com/eclipse/jemo.git
github.com/eclipse/jemo-website.git

And have imported the current repo contents from Eclipse.org

Please confirm that the repos are as you expect.

As for a CI instance, please file another bug and out releng team can get you setup and provide advice on pushing to Gerrit.

So the code has been migrated correctly but I cannot use by git hub account to push changes into the repository.

my github account name is csturacloudreach.

Sorry, that was a c&p error on my part. I've fixed that so you should get access in an hour or so when the sync tool runs.

Ok, this works now. I was wondering if I could have access to add members to the eclipse jemo team as I am the project owner.

I ask because I would like to reach out to the other committers on the project to add in their github accounts so they can also continue to make contributions to the project.

Alternatively I'm happy to give you the list of their github accounts or if this happens with a sync through the "Social" section where they specify their github accounts in the eclipse foundation portal I'll reach out to make sure they have filled in that field so I can verify they are transferred across.

The committers need to make sure that they specify their GitHub account name in their Eclipse.org account. Everything else should be taken care of by the sync scripts (they run hourly).

Ok, everything works well now. Thanks for your help.
