Eclipse platform has a new feature that does not work right with CDT: https://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/news/4.11/platform.php#onboarding-text (Bug 543746)

See attached screenshot for the first entry for Arduino is missing display text. I don't know if this is a problem with how arduino is defined, or in the implementation of the onboarding text.

NOTE: If you use CDT's target platform (i.e in source/dev env) you may not see this as CDT's tp uses older Eclipse to build against, and therefore run with.
