Description George Allaman CLA 2018-10-25 14:02:04 EDT
I apologize if this is user error. I have searched everywhere I could think of for clues.

I have been using Mylyn to great effect for a few years. My primary benefit is the set of open editors in a task, which makes context switches almost painless. When I deactivate an active task or activate another task, the set of open editors is saved in the context. When I later reactivate this same task, those editors automatically open.

For some reason in the last few months this feature no longer works. When I deactivate a task with editors open, they all close correctly. When I reactivate the same task, whether immediately or after activating a different task, the editors which were open in that context now fail to open automatically. Package Explorer still shows a lot of files in bold, indicating that they are still in the context, but editors do not open for them.

I have confirmed that "Manage open editors to match task content" is checked. "Remove file from context when editor is closed" is unchecked. I am using Eclipse Oxygen.3a Release 4.7.3a, Build id: 20180405-1200. Mylyn Context Connector: Eclipse IDE 3.23.0.v20170411-2108.

Thank you.
