dear team,

I am using the below eclipse version

Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers.

Version: Neon Release (4.6.0)
Build id: 20160613-1800

I have imported the project in to the workspace.

projects are built in Webdynpro java and EJB Components.

whenever I open the eclipse tool it crashes with Unexpected error occurred during the build Out of memory error java heap space. etc it doesnot allow me to change the code. sometimes content assist throws heap dump and while saving the workspace it throws java heap dump
I have tried all the options suggested in the google. but it is not helping me out

kindly note: I have 8GB RAM.
-XMX2048m allocated in eclipse.ini file
JDK 8.1.121 is used

different kind of error I get in the tool:

error1:
An internal error occurred during: "Initializing Quick Diff".
Java heap space

error2:
An internal error occurred during: "Update Metadata".
Java heap space

error3:
An internal error occurred during: "Requesting Java AST from selection".
Java heap space

error4:
Unhandled Event loop exception:
Session processor ‘class org.eclipse.recommenders.internal.constructors.rcp.ConstructorCompletionSessionProcessor’ failed with exception.
Java heap space

Kindly help me on the same.

Please try again with the 2018-09 release and reopen if you still see the issue.

dear team,
I am using the SAP tool NWDS which is built on top of this eclipse version.
so I need your input to fix the same.
can I upgrade only eclipse version in the existing tool?
if yes how do I do that?
please let me know the link to the exact version of the eclipse.
