Whiteboard:

Description Wes Johnson CLA 2018-08-06 14:52:43 EDT
Can we get a Github repository set up for the Eclipse IoT Tahu project? I believe it should be at:
https://github.com/eclipse/tahu

Thanks in advance,
Wes

https://github.com/eclipse/tahu has been created. Committers will get access once the sync script runs (~1h).
Comment 2 Wes Johnson CLA 2018-09-06 00:55:18 EDT
We've gone through the process of getting the initial contribution approved and I've attempted to push the initial contribution. However, on the push I get this:

# git push -u origin master
remote: Permission to eclipse/tahu.git denied to wes-johnson.
fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/eclipse/tahu.git/': The requested URL returned error: 403

The github username I'm using (wes-johnson) is also using my ECA approved email address (wes0johnson@gmail.com). I've also made sure 'Keep my email address private' is not selected in my Github profile.

I also looked at another relatively new project and see the initial commit was not made by the project lead. I don't know if that is significant or not. I do have the LICENSE file in my commit already. For reference this was mita's first commit.
https://github.com/eclipse/mita/commit/04413e0fff40ccacdc5d1c8d75a9d4b401f48e78

Please let me know what I might be doing wrong.

You should have a pending invitation for the eclipse-tahu team (please check your spam folder). Once you accept the invitation, you should be able to push.

Thanks for the reply but none of us have received invitations to the Github Tahu repo. Is it possible for you to resend them?

User ibinshtok is a member of the eclipse-tahu team, so he must have gotten an invitation.

The following link should work (make sure you're logged in first):

https://github.com/orgs/eclipse/invitation?via_email=1

I've clicked on the link, but get taken to a page that says "Invitation not found". I believe it worked for Wes. Was their only one invitation?

I don't see a pending invitation for you. Did you add your Github ID to your Eclipse account?

I've added my GitHub ID (ckienle) to my Eclipse profile. I've changed my email address on both my Eclipse profile and GitHub profile to match (chad.kienle@gmail.com). Please advise on anything else I may have missed.

Webmaster, can you assist here?
Comment 10 Eclipse Webmaster CLA 2018-09-07 16:59:54 EDT
Oddly enough it was the email change that did it. I've force flushed the caches and you should now have an invite.
