AFAICT, there are three CQs in a pending state. Are these required for this release? (In reply to Wayne Beaton from comment #1) > AFAICT, there are three CQs in a pending state. Please resubmit the IP Log. done: https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=17143 The IP Log is approved. PMC Approval: https://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/iot-pmc/msg04687.html I've scheduled the release review to conclude on August 15/2018. I'm pretty sure that I've asked this before, so excuse the (probably) repeated asking... any thoughts regarding when the project will be ready to graduate out of incubation? (In reply to Wayne Beaton from comment #6) > I'm pretty sure that I've asked this before, so excuse the (probably) > repeated asking... any thoughts regarding when the project will be ready to > graduate out of incubation? I haven't given this much thought yet. However, having read the corresponding section of the Project Handbook, I would say that: - we still have some "weak spots" regarding the public API so we will probably need one or two more releases (iterations) to get them right - once we feel that the APIs are right we will/should do a 1.0 release which, FMPOV, could then coincide with a graduation review - we could probably do better regarding diversity of committers and adoption. However, the integration with Eclipse Kapua might serve as a testimonial for Hono's role within the IoT Working Group at least In any case, I will start to discuss this with the other committers and try to come up with a plan ... I declare this review successful! Please continue with your release. |
