Description Wayne Beaton CLA 2018-05-25 14:06:42 EDT
The idea here is to provide a channel by which an interested party can monitor the activity related to bringing a new project online.

Since we do most of our communication with the project team via Bugzilla records, an obvious means of accomplishing this would be to create a "dummy inbox" for the "Proposals and Reviews" component that interested individuals can follow using the existing Bugzilla mechanism.

Webmaster, can you create a new dummy inbox named "proposals-inbox@eclipse.org"?

The wrinkle in this is that the same component is used for both proposals and reviews, so subscribers will get both. If this channel ends up being actually useful, maybe we can split the component or something.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

I've added proposals-inbox@eclipse.org to the default cc list for all new bugs opened against "Proposals and Reviews".
