Description Ulrich Windl CLA 2018-05-09 05:38:00 EDT
When I copy a class with the following procedure, I have two tabs with the same old class name, while the contents is different (Oxygen.3a Release (4.7.3a), Build id: 20180405-1200):
Select the class in the Package Explorer and use context menu Copy.
Then select target package and use Paste.
Eclipse asks for a new name of the class, and the contents is adjusted (class renamed).
But the tab title for the renamed class still shows the old name (which can be quite confusing).

Maybe I should add that it's not always reproducible (especially not in a simple test case), but it happened at least two times on different days with different classes.
Comment 2 Eclipse Genie CLA 2020-05-03 20:34:56 EDT
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
