Some marketing ideas... "Eclipse 4.x: now releasing 4x faster!" "Eclipse 4.x: now 4 updates a year!" "The Eclipse Release Train: unlike Bombardier [1], we now fix bugs every quarter!" "The Eclipse Quarterly Release Train: fixes, features, and better service than the TTC" [1] https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2018/07/03/most-new-ttc-streetcars-to-be-shipped-to-quebec-to-fix-welding-defect-bombardier-says.html :D On a related note, looks like https://wiki.eclipse.org/SimRel/Simultaneous_Release_Requirements#State_intent_early_.28M4.29 will need to be update since there's no longer an M4 milestone. The new SimRel release cadence is in effect. Most communities seem to have adapted to or learned to live with it. |
