I can not get a clear answer from the other bug submissions,
Eclipse preferences stay on compliance level 9.

4.8M6 does not support Java 10.

a) Please use Oxygen.3a [4.7.3a] release - that release supports Java 10. 

b) Or you can wait for M7 release. 

c) Alternatively, you can take any of the recent I-builds (these are from dev branch - nightly build) if you want to just try it out.
