Description Luc Bourlier CLA 2004-02-27 18:12:40 EST
The breakpoint location verifier use the JDT AST to check if the a line is a
correct location to set a breakpoint.
It works fine with Java <= 1.4.x, but if one tries to code with the new 1.5
feature, it's likely that he won't be able to set the breakpoint where he wants.

May be we can make the verifier less restrictive, until JDT core releases the
new AST.
Something like, if there is too many errors, just put the breakpoint where the
user asked it.
Need investigation.

The fix for bug 57735 + setting the correct AST level in function of the
compiler compliance should help a lot.
The next step will be to manage the new AST elements (bug 57977).

Changes in BreakpointLocationVerifierJob#run().
