The LibIMS project wishes to release under both the EPL 2.0 and BSD.

In order to implement this non-standard licensing scheme, we will need to get approval from the Eclipse Board of Directors.

Jean, please assemble a short slide deck that describes why the project team chose this licensing scheme. On the first slide, please provide a one or two sentence executive summary of the project, on the second slide, please describe why the project needs to be licensed in this manner. Please avoid providing technical detail; a two or three sentence executive summary will suffice for each.

This is the information required in order to seek board approval. The slides will be presented to the Board of Directors to motivate the license requirement and gain board approval.

Jean could you please clarify what license scheme you were looking for?

In the proposal you only have BSD listed, however in the email that you sent you had requested EPL 2.0 and BSD.

What is the reason that you wish to license under BSD and are you looking to dual license?

The license combination of EPL+EDL is approved by the board according to the PolarSys Top Level Project Charter.

I have updated the proposal accordingly.
