Description Eric Williams CLA 2017-12-14 11:19:10 EST
When on Wayland, holding down the delete key in the main editor does not delete text continuously. It deletes one letter and then stops.

Build: 4.8M4
GTK3.22
Fedora 27

What I've found out so far:
-doDelete() isn't being triggered in StyledText after the first deletion
-the issue doesn't happen with a bare bones StyledText widget, only in the editor
-native Text widgets are not affected.

I will continue debugging the events, but there is a lot of code in between SWT and Platform.text so this process takes awhile.

I can no longer reproduce this bug on 4.8 M7.
