Description

Hmm, the accounts data looks ok. Could you try updating your password on accounts.eclipse.org (just reuse the current value). With the upgrade to bugzill 5 there was a change in the password formatting that may be an issue here. -M. after setting a new password on https://accounts.eclipse.org/user/45417/edit#open_tab_accountsettings , login to ipzilla works now, so this is solved for me. However there are some things I noticed in the process: 1. my old password did not meet the increased required minimum length (8 instead of 12), so I had to create a new one 2. the UI on https://accounts.eclipse.org/user/45417/edit#open_tab_accountsettings is pretty confusing: after you enter old and new password and press "save", there is no feedback that the password update actually did not work. I figured out eventually that I also have to answer the (completely unrelated) question whether I have changed employers. If "changed employer?" is a mandatory question for changing passwords, either the save button should not be enabled until the question is answered or at least after I press save, it should complain about the mandatory field not filled and thus passwords not being updated. The change employers option is 'mandatory' to help you help us keep records up to date. I'll pass your comments on to the webdev team, and close this bug as 'fixed'. -M. |
