This is caused by Platform Bug 525676. However, we can workaround this problem using a fully transparent image, as described in Bug 525676 comment 5. Hence, I won't classify this bug as blocked by Bug 525676. New Gerrit change created: https://git.eclipse.org/r/106350 Gerrit change https://git.eclipse.org/r/106350 was merged to [maintenance]. Created attachment 270865 [details] Screenshot illustrating the problem Under Windows and macOS, the Model Repositories view shows models have been downloaded and which are available in the model repository. Under Linux, however, these icons are not shown (see attached screenshot).
