From what I understand, Java9 will not run Eclipse < Oxygen.1a out of the box.

I suspect a use case where our existing users use the latest Java and try to launch Eclipse, and are met with errors.

Perhaps we should announce on our home page / download page that Java9 requires Oxygen.1a ?
