When Eclipse is stretched accross two monitors pop up windows appear with half 
of the window on one monitor and the other half on the other monitor. I assume 
this would occur for any even number of monitors in a row. This makes pop ups 
very difficult to read unless you move them to one of the monitors after they 
pop up (which is time consuming and distracting).

It would be better if the windows appeared centered on a certain monitor or if 
window placement was automatically stored and reloaded.

Which particular popup?
I tried the Run dialog and it appeared in full on one monitor.

I added a second display that was a different size than my primary display. I moved the workbench to 
the secondary display and found that various popups e.g. rename popped up in the logical middle of 
the overall display instead of centered on the workbench itself. Unlike others who have two displays of 
equal size, having different sized displays actually shows the problem better.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
