A minimal donation of 35$ to be a Friend of Eclipse seems questionable in term of impact:
* Does it actually increase the revenue from donations?
* Why would people who give "only" 20$ not be considered as friends?
I believe it would be much nicer with the community to mark as Friend of Eclipse anyone who donates more than 1$, to show how warmly our community welcomes all donations, even small ones.

+1 I tend to agree that it should be easier to become a Friend of Eclipse!
