Description
Stephanie Swart
I've changed the release review date to May 5, 2017. We have not received an IP-Log or a request for PMC approval. Please send these in as soon as possible. I do not agree to move the release date that was announced for more than a month ! I used the webpage https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/technology.app4mc/releases/0.8.0/iplog/preview to submit the IP Log about 3 weeks ago. "Submit for Review A preview of the log is shown below. Use this form to submit this IP Log for review by the IP Team." I also marked the checkbox "Pending CQs are required" but the last open CQ (CQ 12554) has not been approved: ----- Comment #8 From Sharon Corbett CLA 2017-03-07 16:10:06 [reply] ------- This request is cleared for checkin based on Parallel IP. We will complete a full review in the near future. I requested the PMC approval but got no reaction: https://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/technology-pmc/msg08346.html I wrote twice to emo@eclipse.org because the Release review page stated: This review is pending; contact The Eclipse Management Organization to make it public. I will press the button to submit the IP Log again ... and hope that this process will start this time !! (In reply to Harald Mackamul from comment #3) > I will press the button to submit the IP Log again ... > > and hope that this process will start this time !! Hi Harald, as soon as we get all of the approvals (PMC and IP-Log) we will make an exception and declare the review successful. I will request the IP team look at the IP-Log as soon as it is generated. Thank-you. Hi Stephanie, thank your for the quick reply (and the solution). Regarding the IP Log: How can I prevent this situation in future? I submitted the review request (at least I thought so) and checked the page twice (2017-04-07 and 2017-04-12) to see if any changes are visible. The dates for the IP Review were correct and I got no feedback that the IP team was not informed automatically that the open CQs are required. Best regards, Harald (In reply to Harald Mackamul from comment #5) > Regarding the IP Log: How can I prevent this situation in future? Based on your assertion on CQ 12554 that you'd marked the checkbox "Pending CQs are required", upon submitting you would have been informed that you should contact the IP Team to resolve pending CQs before you submit the IP log for review. Do you recall seeing that message? (In reply to Wayne Beaton from comment #6) > Based on your assertion on CQ 12554 that you'd marked the checkbox "Pending > CQs are required", upon submitting you would have been informed that you > should contact the IP Team to resolve pending CQs before you submit the IP > log for review. Do you recall seeing that message? I saw the message on Friday but must have missed it the first time. The possibility to push the Submit button (even then the checkbox "Pending CQs are required" is checked) was misleading for me. I assumed that the IP team is automatically notified. Best regards, Harald We have received IP-Log approval: https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=13316 I declare this review successful! Please continue with your release! |
