The Eclipse SUMO project provides an open microscopic and mesoscopic traffic simulator. It can be used to model, analyze, simulate, optimize and forecast traffic with a focus on: Vehicle movements, pedestrian movements, train movements, traffic light schedules, and vehicle emissions.
