Description Ed Willink CLA 2017-03-05 16:06:22 EST
Regular NNTP users grudgingly accepted that FUDForum + RSS might be an adequate interim step pending a replacement. However I am seeing increasing evidence that the RSS feed is selective.

I did not receive either a new topic or RSS notification for the first

https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/1084530/1755569/#msg_1755569

posting. I received the econd.

When I get notifications some are 8 or more hours old. In some cases a reply to message arrives before the original message.

Please either make FUDforum work or lose it.

Bug 514976 may be a specific instance of this. It is not the RSS feed that's bad; it the core functionality.

Please upgrade to a respectable tool.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
