Description Mike A CLA 2004-02-05 05:48:30 EST
Having added *.log to my list of file types in the "File Associations" section
of the Workbench preferences, then associating that file type with the Internal
Text editor; I had expected the icon of that file type to change within the
Package explorer.
The icon should have changed to the icon used for all file types associated
with the Internal text editor, but instead; it remained as the icon of the
External text editor that was associated with that file type by the operating
system.
The icon was only correctly reflected in the Package explorer after I had
closed and re-opened my project.

Same happens in the navigator.
Moving to platform UI.

There are currently no plans to work on this although we would be happy to review patches.

Oleg is now responsible for watching the [Decorators] category.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
