Dalibor, can you comment on this?

This seems like an obvious enough fix. I'll take care of it unless you have an objection.

From the EMO inbox:

When on the Eclipse website I did a search for Mission Control plugins and came across an article that had instruction about using Mission Control within Eclipse:

The url of the article:
http://www.eclipse.org/community/eclipse_newsletter/2014/january/article2.php

unfortunately the article has an out of date URL link to

http://download.oracle.com/technology/products/missioncontrol/updatesites/experimental/5.5.0/eclipse/

when it should of been

http://download.oracle.com/technology/products/missioncontrol/updatesites/base/5.5.0/eclipse/

The incorrect linked looked legitimate to me and I spent 3 days (as a novice eclipse user) following the instructions, and then trying every version of eclipse java IDE and numerous variables, without success, solely because of the incorrect link contained in the article.

I know Eclipse are not responsible for the article, but you are hosting it, and providing it in your search results.

There are no contact details for the author of "Java Mission Control", (otherwise I would have informed him directly).

Is it possible to have the article replaced, removed or updated.

I've changed my mind :-)

Roxanne, can you take care of this?

Thanks Wayne, this link has been updated :)

It would be nice if the Eclipse logo on the page could be updated though. Dalibor can you help? The updated Eclipse artwork is here: https://www.eclipse.org/artwork/

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

I think we are done here! Closing this bug!
