Description lorenzo CLA 2004-02-01 12:37:09 EST
Hi,
if I add a new action to the toolbar from "window->customize
perspective->commands", this new action does not receive selectionChanged
notification.
I have to restart eclipse for selectionChanged being called.
I do not know if this is relevant, but the plugin with this problem use
ui.startup extension point.

Which build of 3.0 are you using?
Comment 2 lorenzo CLA 2004-02-05 16:50:00 EST
Hi,
I'm using M5. I know it's quite old, I'll check this with latest integration.
Comment 3 lorenzo CLA 2004-02-07 04:57:19 EST
Hi,
I checked with I20040205 and I have the same problem.
I checked also with 2.1.2 and it works correctly.

I found that the problem does not depend on action activation, but on new
projects. I'll try to discover something more.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
